Applicants who would want to pursue an undergraduate degree programme in Environmental and Safety Engineering should possess one of the following qualifications with the critea provided;

 

Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSSCE) Candidates

Candidates must have credits (A-D) in THREE CORE SUBJECTS i.e. English Language, Mathematics and Integrated Science and passes in THREE SCIENCE ELECTIVES namely; Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

West African Secondary School Certificate (WASSCE) Candidates

Candidates must have credits (A1-C6) in THREE CORE SUBJECTS i.e. English Language, Mathematics and Integrated Science as well as credits in THREE SCIENCE ELECTIVES namely; Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

General Certificate of Education (GCE) and  ‘Advance Level (A Level) Candidates

Candidates must have credits in THREE (3) SUBJECTS (at least, one of the passes should be Grade D or better). Also the applicant must have had credits passes (Grade 6) in five (5) GCE ORDINARY LEVEL subjects including English, Mathematics and an Arts subject for science students.

Matured Candidates

A matured applicant should have a science background and must have attained the age of 25. The applicant should have five (5) credits at the GCE Ordinary Level or  SSSCE/WASSCE with credits in English Language and Mathematics.  A matured applicant should also possess experience in the relevant area of study and may be interviewed.
